She has been following the Sainsbury's diets and has found it really easy. Here is the link&nbsp;<a href="http://www.sainsburysdiets.co.uk/" target="_blank">http://www.sainsburysdiets.co.uk/</a><br>It does not sound faddy like many diets and of course she has been exercising regularly too.&nbsp;<br><br>Another lady that I train has also lost a similar amount of weight in the same time frame. Rather than following a diet plan this has been done through cutting out rubbish, stopping drinking alcohol, not picking when giving the children their dinner but eating with them and exercising regularly.&nbsp;<br><br>Well done to both of them on such great results.<br><br>Many parents give their children dinner, pick through this period of time and then wait for their other half to come home from work and then cook another meal - why? Whilst this may work for some people if you want to lose weight this is making things very difficult for yourself.&nbsp;<br><br>If you are cooking a meal for your children, chances are high that it will be healthy, balanced and full of brightly coloured vegetables and very low in salt. Why do we find it easy to do this for our children but then when cooking for adults we think we have to cook something elaborate and full of cream, fat and salt? Add all this to eating late at night with wine and you are not going to get good results. Whilst I firmly believe in 'calories in v calories out' regardless of time of day - real life is not that simple. If you leave your dinner until very late in the evening then you are more likely to pick on cheese, bread, posh crisps and wine whilst waiting for dinner. Do yourself a favour, eat early and leave the wine bottle unopened.<div><br></div><div>This will then give you some extra time to exercise. You could go for a run or a swim or do some weights/ dvd if you cannot get out of the house.&nbsp;<br><br>Other tips to make weight loss easy are:</div><div><ul><li>eat breakfast to stimulate your metabolism,&nbsp;<br></li><li>take regular exercise even if it is a brisk walk at lunchtime it is better than nothing,&nbsp;<br></li><li>plan your meals,&nbsp;<br></li><li>don't go shopping for food while you are hungry,&nbsp;<br></li><li>make take aways a rare event rather than a regular event,&nbsp;<br></li><li>eat off a smaller plate than usual and&nbsp;<br></li><li>watch your portion sizes - the amount of food we are served up when eating out and at home is ridiculous - no surprise obesity is on the increase.&nbsp;</li></ul></div><div><div>Both of the women I mentioned at the start achieved their weight loss by making big changes to their attitudes to food and their lifestyles - but it worked and now they are really happy with the results they are seeing.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div></div></div>  ]]></content:encoded></item><item><title><![CDATA[Places available on small group personal training session]]></title><link><![CDATA[http://www.asfitas.co.uk/1/post/2011/11/places-available-on-small-group-personal-training-session.html]]></link><comments><![CDATA[http://www.asfitas.co.uk/1/post/2011/11/places-available-on-small-group-personal-training-session.html#comments]]></comments><pubDate>Mon, 07 Nov 2011 13:31:08 -0800</pubDate><category><![CDATA[Uncategorized]]></category><guid isPermaLink="false">http://www.asfitas.co.uk/1/post/2011/11/places-available-on-small-group-personal-training-session.html</guid><description><![CDATA[I do small group exercise sessions on a Saturday morning on Peckham Rye. These have been going for while. Participants book onto blocks of approx 6 weeks. There are&nbsp; currently 2 spaces available with a group that started last Saturday. We start at 7.50am and it lasts an hour. We do weights, cardio and mat work. There are 4 ladies in the group at the moment so space for 2 more. Started with an action packed high energy Mums, Bums and Tums class. Everyone looked like they were working hard which was brill. Powerpramming at lunchtime was a lovely Autumn warmer. Felt a bit chilly to start with then we soon warmed up and had a good session which just wizzed by! I have a new Intermediate running course starting tonight with about 10 ladies.
