Power Walking is a low impact form of Cardio Vascular exercise suitable for a wide range of fitness levels.
The pace of walking raises your heart rate and will work your heart, lungs, major muscle groups and help to increase bone density.
I organise 6 week Power Walking courses.
The sessions are sociable but I'll be working you much harder than you would if you were walking on your own.
The cost of the 6 week course is £30 per person or £6 PAYG.
Next courses start Tuesday 23 February and Saturday 6 March 2010.
Please wear comfortable clothing and footwear such as trainers. The sessions will still be held if it rains so bring a waterproof with you on those days.
As we are exercising try and avoid bringing a bag. If you cannot avoid bringing a bag please make sure it is a rucksack which can fit comfortably over both shoulders or a bum bag/ money belt. We will be looking a posture a great deal so shoulder bags will not help.
