Before enlisting the help of Liz, I assumed a Personal Fitness trainer would be, firstly too expensive and secondly not aimed at someones who's level of exercise is dictated to by how the working week developed. The individual programme developed by Liz has helped me to improve my overall fitness, through exercises I enjoy, whilst at the same time encouraging me in those areas where my enthusiasm isn't so strong. This culminated in my completion of a 10km race in under an hour. An achievement I wouldn't have thought possible 6 months ago! ACCOUNT MANAGER

When I found out I was pregnant I panicked, I am a university researcher and so have a fairly sedentary lifestyle. I always thought that I would get fit then get pregnant, but it didn't work out like that. I saw an article Liz and contacting her was a really good idea. I have much enjoyed my week ly one hour sessions with Liz. She has tailored a programme to suit my needs, (early pregnancy and generally unfit) I can feel assured that I am doing exactly the right sort and amount of exercises to increase muscle tone and fitness while also taking my condition into account. I feel like I am making good progress and can thoroughly recommend her services. UNIVERSITY RESEARCHER

I work long hours in the City and used to find it hard to make time for exercise. It was always something that I thought could be put off for another day. I found it hard to motivate myself and I was always daunted by gyms. At a certain point, I knew I had to get fit but (not being someone who has ever done regular exercise) I was not really sure how to get started.
I saw an advertisement for Liz's personal training services and thought it would be worth a go. Liz is professional, friendly, and very down-to-earth. Her programme was tailored for me - it has pushed me to achieve my goals without being so pressurised that it would put me off. She has trained with me at unearthly hours of the morning, late at night and on weekends - the timing is flexible around my needs.
The results speak for themselves. I went from being able to run for about a minute without having to stop for breath. I had not done any form of regular exercise and was a semi-regular smoker. That was in October 2005 and within six months I had ran my first 10k race. I feel fit, positive and no longer like a lost cause. LAWYER

When my daughter was 9 months old a friend and I decided it was time to
get in shape and so employed the personal training services of Liz
Stuart. I had always hated running as a way of getting fit but Liz put
us on a well structured running programme and within 6 weeks I had gone
from being able to run for only 1 minute at a time to 25 minutes without
stopping. This for me was a miracle. By the time I had been training for
4 months I could run for 50 minutes no problem. Liz also had us doing
abdominal exercises, weights for arms and back, and leg exercises to
complete an all round fitness routine. Targets were set so there was
always something to aim for and I was very pleased with myself when I
completed my first organised 5k run.
I have to admit in the beginning I found it tough and motivating myself
to train in the evenings after work was not easy. However, I was
determined to stick to the programme and it paid off. I became much
fitter and had much more energy, I felt much more toned and it helped me
loose the weight I had gained during pregnancy and breast feeding. I am
now 4 months pregnant with my second child so I am no longer on the
programme but I remain as active as possible. PROJECT MANAGER
